Nicte was born in Mexico. Her interest in the arts began at an early age. At the age of five she began her music studies on the piano, but it wasn't until five years later that her love for dance took her to her first ballet class. There she began her foray into this art.
At 14 she joined a bolero and flamenco dance company. She began her flamenco training here, via lessons with several teachers, including Norma Arredondo. She participated in various shows in major theaters with Joaquin Fajardo, a gypsy from Granada residing in Mexico.
In 2004 she moved to the Andalusian city, Seville, where she studied at the Fundación Cristina Heeren, obtaining a two-year scholarship to further refine her skills.
Since then, Nicté has danced in tablaos and theaters in several countries such as Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, Israel, Greece and Chile.
During her career as an artist she studied with various flamenco figures like Carmen Ledesma, Rafael Campallo, Milagros Menjibar, Pilar Ortega, Rosario Montoya "La Farruca" and Juan Manuel Fernandez Montoya "Farruquito", enriching her love for and perfection of this art.
Nicté currently lives in Sevilla where she continues performing and perfecting her skills.
